SL has a long history doing some ridiculous stuff just prior to hosting an international event, like the removal of some Rajagiriya tin huts before the commencement of the Saarc conference. Well this time around i noticed the RDA had decided to paint the tar separaters along the negombo road all the way from the Airport to Colombo in bright spanking yellow. However, i must commend the efficiancy of the operation. Couple of guys sweeping, couple of guys painting. It all seemed like a mad rush. Managed to get a couple of pictures, thought it was typical Sri Lanka.
